Carole. I am 69 years old and had to quit drinking 4 tears ago. Last year I gave up smoking. In confronting my sugar addiction, your line above doesn’t help me. I still crave alcohol and tobacco and am resigned to the fact that I will get cravings for them for the rest of my life. They did not and will not “eventually go away”.
